interactive installation
8 feet in diameter x variable height

Economic Mobility is an interactive installation where participants are encouraged to jump for money.

U.S. dollar bills are arranged in a dome-like pattern directly above a trampoline, with a $100 bill at the apex. As the bills decrease in value, they are hung lower and situated farther from the center, so that the $1 bills are closest to the trampoline on the perimeter.

This piece presents a series of simple variables that induce surprisingly complex mixtures of aspiration, eagerness, greed, and hope.
