THE WHEEL OF RECKONING AND RAGE features two upright game-show-style spinners with raw, revealing questions about rage. One spinner has questions about how you process rage internally, asking whether you validate or even recognize your rage when it’s first triggered. The other side asks about how you react outwardly to rage triggers, including how your reactions might be shaped by social context or expectations. The playful, larger-than-life format transforms unpacking an abstract intimidating emotion into a communal challenge that you willingly take on. 

Part of my Anatomy of Rage series, and rooted in my experience as a Filipinx-American femme, this interactive sculpture dares you to confront what we’re usually told to contain—and maybe voice something you’ve never admitted, even to yourself.
